Plant Care: a Swift Pieces remix in SwiftUI, inspired by Planta
A plant care app in six screens across three tabs on a floating dock, in the Swift Pieces look, light or dark, with every plant drawn: your rooms as collages of their plants on house pastels, with tabs that swap to every plant in a list; one plant under its large title, its picture in pages you swipe, its room and health as chips, two care rings side by side and today's tasks; a camera sheet framing a plant whose Leaf, Whole plant and Flower modes each bring their own hint; a check-up led by a picture of the job, one squashy button and common signs as drawn leaves that each start one, over an empty state for past check-ups; a light meter you steer by pointing the camera at a sunny window; and a community with your groups as drawn circles over a post with its photo. Shape lock: actions are pills, cards 24, tiles 16. Built from Screen Header, Tracking Tabs, Photo Mosaic, Media Row, Page Carousel, Tag, Timer Dial, Task Row, Commit Button, Tint Panel, Camera Viewfinder, Image, Elastic Button, Avatar, Reaction Toggle and Swipe Action Row.
- Tap plus, then swipe between Leaf, Whole plant and Flower
- Swipe from Rooms to Plants, then open a plant
- Swipe the plant's pictures, then mark all three done
- Tap the sun and drag across the light meter
- Start a check-up, or tap a common sign
- Swipe between Feed and Saved
- Tabs: Each tab keeps its own place, so switching back returns you where you were.
- Tap: A tap acts on release, so dragging off cancels it.
- Drag: It tracks 1:1 under your finger and settles with a spring when released.
- Swipe: It follows your finger, then commits or springs home based on distance and speed.
- Press: The control dips while your finger is down and springs back on release.
- Push: The next screen slides in from the trailing edge; back slides it away.
- Sheet: The sheet rises over the screen, rests at its detents and follows your drag to dismiss.
- Select: The selection moves between options instead of blinking.
- Loading: The control shows progress in place, then resolves to success or an error.
- Spring: Motion overshoots slightly and settles, the way physical things do.
- Haptic: A short tap of vibration confirms the moment something happens.
